Description

Knights of Columbus, Southern California Chapter including Council 3148 provided wheelchairs for veterans at the VA Hospital.

WESTWOOD, CA, November 10, 2007 — Members of the Knights of Columbus, including council 3148, had the pleasure of participating in the assembling and distribution of wheelchairs to our veterans at the VA hospital in Westwood. The veterans were most appreciative and it was very heart warming and moving to be with these fine men who gave so much for our freedoms we enjoy today. On that day the Knights of Columbus, in cooperation with the Wheelchair Foundation distributed 2000 wheelchairs to needy veterans at four locations around the country (Washington D.C, Chicago IL, Dallas TX, and Los Angeles CA).
