With supervision, manages projects for one or more of the following product lines: Transamerica Funds, Transamerica Variable Annuities, Transamerica Fixed Annuities, and Transamerica Life Insurance. Identifies requirements with Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager in conjunction with Project/Traffic Manager and follows projects through to completion. Cross-trained on at least two product lines.
Performs all Primary Duties/Accountabilities of the entry-level Marketing Coordinator position. * Manages more complex projects within assigned product line and is fully cross-trained in at least one other product line. * With supervision from the Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, or Project/Traffic Manager, develops and manages own projects. * Assists in evaluating competitive offerings and defines strategies for competing and winning in our market space. * Assists in determining industry trends and defines strategies that position our products effectively for industry movement.
Qualifications:
communication skills required. Currently holds or willing to obtain Series 6 license within six months of hire. Demonstrated experience executing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Normal office environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Must assimilate ideas and prioritize projects accordingly. Some travel may be necessary.
Demonstrated more complex problem solving and negotiation skills and experience managing multiple projects. Ability to develop strong working relationships, assimilate ideas and prioritize projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
