We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to join the North America Engagement Marketing team with a special focus on improving the end-to-end experience for our top consumer segment. This role offers an opportunity to have an impact on increasing the value of our most important consumer segment. And by doing so, you will help grow the PayPal brand by igniting evangelism through providing our top consumers a first-rate overall experience. The incumbent is passionate about the consumer and has a proven track record designing and continually improving the end-to-end experience for top consumer segments – ultimately driving evangelism and loyalty. Specific job responsibilities include: Define, develop, and implement marketing strategies and programs for the top buyer segment (right channel, right message, right customer, right time). Measure efficacy and ROI of programs Be the voice of our top consumer segment – know their needs and wants better than anyone in the company Create a continuous feedback loop so we keep the pulse on our top consumer segment and provide meaningful and timely feedback to product and customer service as appropriate Grow loyalty among top consumer segment to increases in revenue/profit per user Partner with Risk and Customer Services Work with database marketing & analytics team to leverage vast insights to drive life-stage direct marketing strategy You'll get excellent support, have the authority to get things done, and be rewarded for your results. Qualifications:
Seasoned life-stage marketing pro (5 – 8 years of relevant experience). Consumer-centric. A consumer marketer who’s had major successes with life-stage marketing and development with best-in-class consumer brands (in retail, financial services, payments categories). Other: Challenger mindset: ambitions exceed resources; openness to do things differently; assume thought leadership of, and prepared to, redefine the category Combination of retail and financial services/payments background ideal Strong collaborator, nonetheless, someone who is willing to stand behind provocative points of view Superior relationship and influence management skills in interacting with senior leaders, peers, and external partners…with proven ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment Demonstrated strong marketing strategic and creative thinking (benefits mktg/customer orientation) Must handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and should possess strong analytic and problem solving skills Prior experience working with Customer Service and Risk
